Department's mission in the Philippines

At the invitation of the University of De La Salle, from the 9th to 13 th Novemeber 2011 Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, MSc. Nguyen Hoang My Lan, Arch. Nguyen Phuong Nga and M.A.Nguyen Hai Nguyen attended the international conference on the topic ‘Scenarios of Urban Development in Southeast Asia to 2030’.

At the invitation of the University of De La Salle, from the 9th to 13 th Novemeber 2011 Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, MSc. Nguyen Hoang My Lan, Arch. Nguyen Phuong Nga and M.A.Nguyen Hai Nguyen attended the international conference on the topic ‘Scenarios of Urban Development in Southeast Asia to 2030’. Researchers from the six largest cities in Southeast Asia including Bangkok, Manila, Singapore, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Ho Chi Minh City in turn presented their views and scenarios for future development in each city. The conference has found many problems that appear during the development process in these cities such as climate change, traffic congestion, overcrowded population, outdated management system, ect…Next delegations of the conference mentioned initiatives while discussing solutions. The Vietnamese delegation has made many ​​positive contributions to the conference content.

According to the agenda, the project will continue to be developed further in depth in each city.
